Heart 4 Honduras

The ministry of Heart for Honduras stems from the vision God gave to Leonie Webster from Jeremiah 23:3-5, to reach out to the poor, lost and vulnerable in Honduras – especially to women and orphans – and show them the love of God.

Heart for Honduras is headed up by our founder Leonie Webster, who is based in the Valley of Angels (Valle de Angeles), just south of Tegucigalpa. Using her skills as a midwife, dental assistant and her knowledge of healthcare, Leonie leads Heart for Honduras initiated projects and supports national and international projects aligned with our vision.

We are involved in a number of activities reaching out to local communities. At the heart of all of our projects is a desire to communicate the love of Jesus to those who have nothing here in Honduras. We have found that there is real power in showing God’s love and care in practical ways to meet the needs of the people.

The ministry has operated in Honduras since Leonie arrived as a missionary in February 2005.
